Homeowners Responsibility to Maintain Property

Section 6 of the Bylaws of the Woodfield Association provides that “[e]ach Member shall be responsible for the care, upkeep, protection and maintenance of that Member’s Property.” It further provides that “[e]very Member must perform promptly all maintenance and repair work upon that Member’s respective Property, which, if omitted, would adversely affect the Property of another".
The Association's cost for enforcement will be born by the homeowner in question rather than the Associaiton as a whole Pursuant to Resolution of the Woodfield Association Board, it is authorized to assess against and collect its costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees incurred in the enforcement of the Bylaws.
